From the Lawrenceville Alumni Council

The Alumni Council has been hard at work advancing alumni engagement across the Lawrenceville community.

It is a great honor to serve as president of the Alumni Council and to help strengthen the vibrant Lawrenceville community we all cherish. Having been involved with the School for many years and serving on the Alumni Council for the past decade, I have seen how our alumni body continues to evolve while remaining united by a shared bond.

The Alumni Council has been hard at work advancing alumni engagement across the Lawrenceville community. We are developing several initiatives that will be announced in the months ahead, projects designed to strengthen connections among alumni and create new opportunities for engagement. I am grateful for the dedication of Council members and proud of the work we are doing together on behalf of the School we hold dear.

Our focus remains on deepening connections across classes and creating opportunities for alumni to engage with one another and with Lawrenceville, whether at reunions, regional gatherings, on-campus programs, affinity groups, or virtual events. This past year we saw the strength of our community on full display at our inaugural biennial Gather event, which in November celebrated our Black and Latinx alumni, as well as at our many regional events. We look forward to continuing that momentum at Career Day, Alumni Reunion Weekend, and, looking ahead to the fall, Home for Hill on November 7. Go, Big Red!

Engagement and nominations remain central to our work as we continue expanding awareness of the Council’s role across the School’s community of more than 16,000 alumni, as well as the administration, faculty and staff, students, and the Board of Trustees.

As the governing body of the Lawrenceville Alumni Association, the Alumni Council supports alumni engagement, recognizes distinguished alumni through awards and honors, and nominates alumni representatives to the Board of Trustees.
